Desert Woodcrafters (sometimes stylized Desert Woodcrafters Club) is a resident-run woodworking club based at Robson Ranch Arizona in Eloy, Arizona. It’s housed in the Creative Arts Center on Robson Boulevard and provides Robson Ranch residents—both seasoned woodworkers and absolute beginners—with access to tools, equipment, classes, and mentorship.
The club is both a creative hub and social community. Membership involves a one-time safety orientation, a signed liability waiver, and an annual dues payment (typically around $120, or $60 if joining mid-year). Members gain affordable access (about $10/month) to an extensive collection of professional-grade tools, including lathes, saws, sanders, and CNC machines—equipment valued at well over $140,000.
It’s as much about forging friendships as crafting projects—members build everything from turned bowls and cutting boards to furniture and CNC-engraved keepsakes in a supportive and flexible environment.
