Desert Woodcrafters is a resident-run woodworking club located at Robson Ranch, Arizona, in Eloy, Arizona. It operates out of the Creative Arts Center on Robson Boulevard.

Mission and culture:
The club exists to support and cultivate woodworking as both a craft and a social activity. It emphasizes that woodworking is “more than a hobby — it’s a way to build, create, and connect.” The organization serves as a creative hub where members of all skill levels—from complete beginners to experienced craftsmen—can learn, work, and socialize.

Membership and participation:
Membership requires:

  • A one-time safety orientation

  • Signing a liability waiver

  • Annual dues (one-time fee; typical amount around $120, with a mid-year prorated rate)
    Members gain access to professional-grade tools and equipment valued at over $140,000.

Tools and facilities:
The organization provides access to a variety of woodworking tools and machines, which may include lathes, saws, sanders, and CNC equipment, among others.

 

Community & social aspect:
The club emphasizes not just woodworking skills but also community and social engagement, fostering relationships and mutual learning among members.
